Our donkey milk soaps are handcrafted using the cold saponification process method (with which all the benefits of ingredients retain) with fresh milk from the donkey’s of our farm.

How can you use Donkey’s milk soap? …Lather soap onto hands or a washcloth and apply to your face and body.
According to several surveys, donkey milk has regenerative ingredients and prevents certain skin diseases such as eczema, acne and psoriasis. Similar to human’s milk; it contains essential fatty acids which help in the absorption of vitamins. Even enhances the healing process.

History of donkey milk
In the texts of Hippocrates, ancient Greek god of health, there are several reports of this milk, since Hippocrates recommended it for various ailments and accidents, snake bites to dysentery.
In Roman times was used as a cosmetic and stated that Cleopatra relaxing in a bathtub filled with this to enhance her beauty. It is said that Cleopatra was allways taking with her in her traveling hundreds of donkeys not to miss the bath of donkey milk.
The second wife of the Roman Emperor Nero, Poppea Sabina, also followed the same secret beauty and youth in daily life as indicated in the description of Pliny the virtues of donkey milk for the skin. Pliny says that donkey milk erases wrinkles in the skin, makes it thinner and keeps white.
Known is that some women wash their face with it seven times a day, strictly to this number.
The sister of Napoleon Bonaparte, Pauline, used also continuously donkey milk for skin care as it delays the aging process.
The milk adds creaminess to the soap and the sugars in the milk add bubbly lather.

It is anti-inflamed, it slows the natural aging process of the human body, it protects the epidermis from external irritation, it protects of skin cancer, it really helps to slow down growing older of the liver, and it helps slow up the buildup from mostly synthetic hair care products and environmental impurities that leave your hair feeling brittle and dull.
